Rustic home office furniture

Log cabins have changed since they originated, during days of hardship on the northern frontier in the 1800s. Today, many log cabins are being built for luxury and comfort. Renting a luxury log cabin is a popular vacation idea, and it is also becoming a popular home decorating idea. You can bring the great outdoor feeling home with you by getting log cabin furniture for your home.

Log furniture is quite durable, and can often be used either indoors or out. Rustic furniture is also quite stylish. With an assortment that includes everything from rustic lodge bedding to antler lamps for sale, you can decorate as much or as little of your home with rustic home furniture as you like. Cedar log beds and rustic lodge bedding are popular choices.

The log cabin is an important part of American history. Of the United States Presidents, seven of them were born in log cabins. Lincoln logs, wooden building toys that resemble logs, were added to the toy hall of fame in 1999. There is an assortment of different rustic styles of furniture to see at the adirondack museum in New York State.

A rustic outdoorsy look indoors? That is a unique and interesting idea. I love the look of natural wood anyway, so I would probably like that style for furniture.

We went on a family camping trip last summer, and stayed in a cabin. It was fun, but we like our modern conveniences and prefer hotels and room service. Cabin décor at home is a good compromise.
