According to The Democrat and Chronicle, “Several Rochester bars and restaurants have meandered into a new age of cocktails.” Good Luck, One, and others are introducing an innovative twist to their current cocktail and drink selections. Mixologists are infusing customers’ favorite cocktails with local syrups and honey, juice, cider, rose water, edible flowers, vegetables, herbs, and more. Rochester mixologist Marco Muioi adds, “The further idea behind our cocktail menu is to blur the line between food and drink, adding more savory components.” The Lunchbox, a new age cocktail from local restaurant Good Luck, for example, blends frozen peanut butter, chilled brandy, and Concord grape juice. This spin on traditional cocktails gives locals the opportunity for a tasteful night out on the town.

The George Eastman House

The George Eastman House, opened to the public in 1949, displays an extension collection of historical photographs and films. The museum holds one of the nation’s largest moving image archives. The site hosts many local events, in addition to tours of its photography and film collections. Some seasonal events include wreath and gingerbread house displays.
