Underestimating the Tricks of the Trade May Stop You From Selling Your Home

Suffolk homes for sale

Did you know that homeowners working with realtors are 120% more likely to sell their homes? Whether you are buying a new house, selling, or both, working with a real estate company can be a sound investment. How can a realtor help you, especially in Virginia?

Knowing When to Put Your Home on the Market

Homes listed in spring sell in as few as 90 days. Home sales peak in April. Working with realtors in Virginia can help you take advantage of the market, especially when it is at its best.

Finding Value in Your Home

Real estate sales have their ups and downs, along with their trends. Right now, any sort of outside space, especially areas that combine all the comforts of the inside of a home with the beautiful outdoors, are big. For example, patios and screened in areas are all the rage. Realtors and real estate companies can keep track of these trends for you, helping you capitalize on them and use them to your best advantage.

Having All Aspects of Real Estate Down, To the Last Detail

Success is in the details. Knowing all there is to know about real estate, especially if you are selling a home or finding a new home for the first time, is unrealistic. There are real estate companies to do that for you. Real estate companies and realtors know their trade, down to the last detail. Want an example? Open houses are much more successful if showcases homes have a fresh, simple scent. Scents like lemon, pine, basil, and green tea are best. Scents of potpourri and baked goods are too complicated. Buyers tend to focus on figuring out, “What is that smell?” instead of your home.

When it comes to buying a new house or selling an old one, a realtor and reliable real estate company can help. Have the tricks of the trade, experience, and the latest trends on your side.

  2. I can see outdoor/indoor areas being big right now. Maybe I’m biased because I grew up in Florida (and my parents had a beautiful lanai), but I’m really enjoying this trend and I hope it continues. 🙂 I love feeling like I’m outside without the bugs
